“I already know what giving up feels like. I want to see what happens if I don’t!”
Bodies were designed to move, they thrive on activity and exercise and the body will quickly degenerate without it – inactivity research suggests that sitting is actually lethal.
The challenge for all of us is to find types ways to achieve fitness that we enjoy and that we can easily incorporate into our life and lifestyle without feeling it is a burden. The Bio Diversity method is also applied to fitness – not all exercise is suitable for all bodies.
Do you struggle to find time to work on your fitness? Do you find the thought of exercise overwhelming and put it in the ‘too hard’ basket? Do you want to work on weight loss or start a regular fitness program but not know where to start? Do you use cost, time, and commitments as an excuse not to start?
At Enrich Coaching we believe that you get to set your fitness goals. Whatever health and fitness goals you have, we will provide tactics and strategies to empower you to reach them!
We offer judgment free health coaching support to help you work on food and nutrition, fitness mentoring, personal fitness plans and a range of tools to help you improve your health and fitness.
Our health coaching clientele can range from mothers who want to find time in their schedule to nurture their bodies with exercise, to mentoring professional athletes. We’re here to help with everything from general women’s fitness programs to coaching and mentoring young athletes and helping businessmen step outside the office and get physical!
Physical activity can take simple and modest forms – get off the bus a stop earlier, park your car at the back of the carpark, use the stairs instead of the elevator, if you have a long phone call scheduled use that time to walk outside or do laps of the office. Exercise does not have to be structured and intense to give you fitness benefits.
It is interesting that people tend to choose exercise that aggravates their current condition for example – bulky, aggressive people tend to lift weight which makes them even bulkier and more aggressive. Yoga classes are often occupied by delicate people that often enjoy a healthy lifestyle these people would probably be grounded and strengthened by doing some weightlifting; just as yoga would lighten the weightlifter.
Movement is a lot like food, once you understand how different types of movement nourish your body you can incorporate a menu of fitness activities to keep you balanced.
Bio Diversity also shows that when we begin a fitness program we all require different types of exercise to stay healthy. Be open to all options, try new activities.
Be experimental and find a fitness routine you can nourish yourself with on a regular basis.
With all the commitments we have in our life, our health, nutrition and fitness is often put on the ‘to-do’ list but doesn’t get ticked off.
I was great at putting my health and fitness on my list; “I will do it tomorrow” was my mantra… but tomorrow never comes! It wasn’t until I started to feel lethargic, couldn’t fit into my clothes and couldn’t maintain my busy life that fitness became a priority and an extremely important part of my everyday life.
When I initially started my fitness program I struggled to fit it all in, I felt like everything I did was not good enough, and I wasn’t getting the fitness results I strived for. Is this how you feel?
Let’s work together so I can give you the tools to take control of your commitment to a healthier, active life, and you can enjoy the benefits of a healthier, fitter you.
